I obtained my Bachelor's degree with honors from Florida State University before going on to law school.  I also graduated with honors from Stetson University College of Law.  Upon graduating law school, I received the Victor O. Wehle Trial Advocacy Award given to the law school's top trial litigator.. During law school, I worked for the civil litigation firm of Thompson, Goodis & Thompson and as a Judicial Clerk for the 6th Judicial Circuit.  Soon after graduating law school, I gained valuable criminal trial law experience as a State Prosecutor for Orange and Osceola Counties in Florida.. Before life as an attorney, I was a teacher for high school and college students. I graduated from Winter Park High School from their international baccalaureate program and earned my B.S. from the University of Florida in 2005, where I majored in Finance and minored in Education.
