In 1985, he received his undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice. Stephen attended law school at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, and received his Juris Doctor degree in 1989. He began practicing law in Georgia, working with a solo practitioner, where he was exposed to and learned from a variety of bankruptcy and family law cases.. After being admitted to the Florida Bar and moving to Florida in 1990, he worked as an associate in a small Orlando law firm until 1991 when he opened his own practice. Jacqueline LaVerne is an Associate attorney with the full-service law firm of Bogin, Munns & Munns, focusing on student loan issues and bankruptcy. Before joining BMM, Ms. LaVerne worked for several Central Florida law firms.  She earned her J.D. from Barry University Dwayne O.
