Lindsey C. Gergely is the newest member of the Umansky Law Firm. Lindsey came to the firm after serving as an Assistant State Attorney in the Orange County State Attorney's Office.. During her time at the State Attorney's Office, Lindsey practiced extensively in both the County and Circuit Courts of Orange County. College Education:. Mr. Fisher graduated with a degree in Biology with a focus on chemistry from Davidson College in 1991.  Initially focused on science, he worked as a Research Technician for Dr. Cordelia-Stone in a pathology lab at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in 1992.  He then spent two years in the molecular biology doctoral program at the University of Georgia. Mr. Fisher’s extensive science background makes him well-versed in dealing with the scientific evidence that can be involved in criminal cases. He understands the science behind DNA fingerprinting, breath testing, organic chemistry, drug testing, forensic pathology, medical testimony, and causation, and is well-equipped to handle experts on the stand..
