I handle securities matters for individual investors nationwide.  I've been trained as defense lawyer under the tutelage of Richard L. Martens, Esq., a nationally well-known and respected defense lawyer.  Our clients included, but was not limited to, major broker-dealer firms, such as Merrill Lynch, UBS, Smith Barney, Credit Suisse and Lehman Brothers.  Following the Financial Crisis and the emergence of high-profile ponzi schemes, such as Madoff (which occurred in my hometown), coupled with Mr. Martens' retirement, the focus of my practice shifted from representing major broker-dealer clients to individual investors.  I was also a broker for a couple of years prior to attending law school.. My employment practice primarily relates to matters in Florida, where I consult on HR issues, such as best practices and policy manual drafting.  When necessary, I also litigate employment matters, typically on the employer's behalf.  However, I also selectively represent individuals as well.
