Jason Barraza is the Senior Associate Director for Veridus LLC, a lobbying, public affairs, communications, campaign consulting and strategic business consulting firm. He represents internationally recognized clients in their government relations needs, and assists in the development of political advocacy plans that include political campaigns, polling, and community outreach. Prior to joining Veridus, Jason spent multiple stints assisting the coordinated campaign of the Arizona Democratic Party during the 2002, 2006 and 2008 campaign cycles. Jason also worked security, logistics and similar roles as part of each Democratic National Convention between 2000 and 2012. He graduated with a bachelor’s from the University of Southern California (2001), and a law degree from the James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona (2006). Jason is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Leading for Change, a non-partisan, political leadership training organization; Vice President of Los Abogados, the Arizona Hispanic Bar Association; is an appointed Member of the Legislative and Government Affairs Committee of the Hispanic National Bar Association; was recently elected Vice Chairman of the City of Phoenix’s North Mountain Village Planning Committee; and serves on the Board for Friends of the Phoenix Public Library. In March 2016 Jason was recognized as one of the nation's top Hispanic attorneys under 40 by the Hispanic National Bar Association.

Jared Ahern was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. Jared went straight through all of his schooling without any breaks. Why? Because Jared has always known this was what he was meant to do. Jared worked full time through all of his schooling, graduated with multiple degrees, and graduated with honors.. After high school in Ahwatukee, he attended Barrett, the Honor’s college, at Arizona State University, where he received two degrees in Political Science and Business Legal Studies. The Fall after he completed his undergraduate studies, he began law school at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University.. While in law school, Jared was a part of the school’s Lodestar Mediation Clinic where he focused heavily on alternative dispute resolution strategies. Jared then clerked for a civil litigation firm for a year where he spent most of his time involved in motion practice and arbitration. Jared’s work at that firm assisted in the settlement of claims totaling over $1 million.. After passing the bar exam and receiving his license, Jared quickly transitioned into criminal defense. He worked at a small defense firm focusing heavily on DUI defense and other vehicular crimes. Jared left that firm after several years and joined the team at DM Cantor. Jared took a brief hiatus, and lived in Oklahoma for just over a year. Upon returning to Arizona, he joined the team at Lerner & rowe Law Group. He focuses primarily on vehicular and felony criminal defense.
