I look at the practice of law as a chance to advocate for people who are struggling through difficult and upsetting litigation or simply haven't received a fair shake. This has been my philosophy since I became an attorney in December 1989, and it has stayed with me for over three decades in multiple legal arenas, including criminal, family, and juvenile court—as well as appellate practice.. I enjoy a number of personal activities, too, that keep me happy and well-balanced. These include sports, music performance, hiking, reading, and writing. I am also the proud grandfather of five little ones. I look forward to watching them change our world for the better.
I joined Cronus Law, PLLC, having graduated from the Moritz College of Law at The Ohio State University. I completed my undergraduate studies in Business Economics, cum laude, at the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona. My work is focused in civil litigation where I represent corporations, small businesses, and people in the community. My goal is to provide my clients with preventive advice and services in order to avoid litigation, and should litigation arise, aggressively advocate for their position built on a strong foundation. In addition, I represent both commerical and residential landlords and tenants in a variety of eviction matters. While not in the office I enjoy attending concerts, discussing global politics, and watching a variety of motorsport.
I joined Burch & Cracchiolo in 2000 as a shareholder after practicing for sixteen years at Horne, Bistrow & Dulberg P.C. Before I moved to Arizona in 1984, I served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Manhattan District Attorney's Office from 1978-1984, where I tried more than forty felony cases. Since 1984, my practice has concentrated on construction law and commercial litigation - focusing primarily on helping clients resolve disputes that typically arise out of construction projects. I have represented the entire gamut within the construction industry, from property owners to design professionals, contractors, subcontractors, and material suppliers. I have obtained a jury verdict of more than $3 million in a business tort case arising out of a street improvement project, and defended numerous multi-million dollar construction claims. I have also handled administrative proceedings pursuant to the Arizona Procurement Code and complaints before the Registrar of Contractors. I've successfully defended a $22 Million claim against a pipe manufacturer, successfully defended a $50 Million negligence claim against an international engineering firm, and I've been involved in drafting and negotiating construction contracts from small residential projects to $40 Million commercial projects. I was recently honored as a Fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America. I've been listed in The Best Lawyers in America for the practice areas of Construction Law and Litigation-Construction from 2014 to 2018. I am AV rated by Martindale Hubbell, which is their highest rating for legal ability and ethical standards. I was also named to teh 2014 Top Lawyers List for Construction Litigation by AZ Business Magazine. Also selected for Arizona's Finest Lawyers 2014-2017. I've also lectured to the State Bar of Arizona and various construction industry groups on various construction law issues. I am admitted to practice in New York (1979), Arizona (1984), the U.S. District Court for District of Arizona (1984), the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit (1997), and the U.S. Supreme Court (2008).

I have been practicing Workers' Comp law since first becoming an attorney in 1988. My first position was as an Attorney at the Industrial Commission of Arizona.. I did defense work for a short time and have been representing claimants since 1990.. I helped build the biggest claimant's firm in Arizona, leaving in April of 2013 to merge my practice as a Partner at Snow, Carpio & Weekley.. I have devoted my career to helping injured workers and their families put their lives back together after life altering injuries. I do not represent fakers, malingerers or people trying to " game" the system. I do represent individuals who are being taken advantage of by insurance companies and third party administrators.. I am a strong advocate for my clients and very competently handle cases from outset through complex hearings and appeals. I am very fortunate to have a passion for my law practice and the thousands of injured workers I have represented.
I have been practicing law for over 17 years and have been a criminal defense attorney for 14 years. I am licensed in Arizona, California, Colorado, Minnesota, and Utah. I have my Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Psychology. I graduated with my Master’s from Northern Arizona University in 1998, worked for Northern Arizona Counsel of Governments (“NACOG”) for a year and then pursued my law degree at the University of Minnesota, where I graduated in 2004. I then returned to the State of Arizona, which I consider my home away from “home” (Colorado, where she was raised).. I always wanted to be an attorney since I can remember. I enjoy helping people, and I have the background to empathize with people, while at the same time being open and honest with clients about their situation. I am also persistent and aggressive with my representation and will do all I can to help people overcome their legal troubles.
I have been practicing injury law for over 30 years. I began my career and spent 10 years working in defense for the biggest insurance companies in the industry. I moved on to become Assistant Attorney General for the State of Arizona, working on complex highway litigation cases. In 2005 I realized my true passion was in representing those actually injured in accidents. I spent 4 years working with one of the largest injury firms in the valley until I opened my own practice in 2009.. My experience working in insurance defense and as the Assistant Attorney General for Arizona has given me an extremely unique set of skills to use for the benefit of my clients today. I believe in fighting aggressively and uncovering every detail for my clients to get them every cent of compensation they deserve.
I have been practicing in Phoenix since 1982, initially working exclusively for insurance companies - either defending their insureds in personal injury cases or defending the insurers themselves in coverage situations or against bad faith claims. After several years I took on a few plaintiffs and then, by word of mouth referrals from clients, my plaintiff's practice began to grow and eventually left little time for defense work. My practice is now split about equally.. My experience from both sides gives me a unique perspective, and one that I believe is very beneficial to clients. I have purposefully remained in a small firm so that your contact is either directly with me or another lawyer with no less than 7 years of experience - your case is not shuffled off to some new associate for "training" purposes.. We don't advertise, and we don't brag - we just work hard for our clients to get them everything they deserve.
I have been practicing environmental law in Arizona and throughout the Southwest with an emphasis on water quality, water rights, environmental compliance auditing, solid and hazardous waste, mining and mined land reclamation and remediation, toxic substances and Superfund matters for the past 30 years. I have a nationally-recognized water quality practice and I work closely with my clients on federal, state, and local levels to develop workable strategies to promote development and expansion of both industrial and mining operations. I participate activitely as a member of the Arizona Mining Association Water Quality Subcommittee (I currently serve as the vice-chair of that subcommittee). I also serve as the co-chair of the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry Water Quality Subcommittee (formerly the Arizona Association of Industries Water Quality Subcommittee), a position I have filled since 2001.
I have been practicing criminal defense law in Arizona for approximately 40 years. From 1985 until August, 2012, I was a certified criminal law specialist. It was my choice not to re-apply for certification, for a variety of reasons, not the least of which was that after all these years, if I don't know what I'm doing, being "certified" isn't going to change that.. My practice is almost exclusively in state superior courts and some lower level courts (city, justice of the peace). It also consists of considerable experience in appeals and post-conviction relief (called "Rule 32s" in Arizona).. After practicing in my home state of New York for several years, my husband and I returned to Arizona, where we'd both attended law school (in Tucson). Initially, I clerked for the now deceased Justice Jack D.H. Hays of the Arizona Supreme Court. That was followed by a stint as a staff attorney for that court, under the tutelage of the Hon. Sarah Grant, then the Chief Staff Attorney and now a retired Court of Appeals judge. These experiences made me a better trial lawyer and a much better appellate lawyer.. When I went into private practice, I worked for John J. Flynn, one of the attorneys responsible for the Miranda v. Arizona decision. Unfortunately, I did not work for John for long when he had a massive heart attack and died. I finished up some of the work he'd left, then went to work for another distinguished criminal defense attorney in Phoenix, Thomas A. Thinnes (deceased). After approximately eight years with Tom, I went out on my own. However, I learned a great deal from Tom, who was a good friend and superior mentor.. I have had many mentors among some of the senior attorneys here in Arizona (although I am one myself now). Among the many were Craig Mehrens, Jordan Green, Tom Karas (deceased) and Phil Goldstein (deceased). All of them taught me a great deal about being a good and honest lawyer.. My job, as a criminal defense lawyer, is seeing to it that the state and all its agents "play" fairly, and that they honor the Constitutions of the United States and Arizona by seeing to it that justice is done in each individual case. In doing that, I not only help my clients, but all citizens. Once the state plays unfairly, it will not stop with just one person, but will extend to anyone brought into the criminal justice system.. Both my children are grown and on their own. For entertainment, I have been a season ticket holder with the WNBA team here in Phoenix (the Mercury) for 15 years. I have also become an avid fan of women's NCAA basketball, and watch as much as I am able in between everything else I do. It is great fun to watch the young women in the NCAA grow and mature for four years, then often go on to play for teams in the WNBA. Title IX was not available to my generation, but it has made all the difference in the world to these young ladies.. If you or someone you love is in trouble with the law, please do not hesitate to call me for a free one hour consultation. We will decide together if I am the right attorney for your needs. If I am not the right attorney for you, I will refer you to others that might better supply counsel for your particular case.. I do not handle DUIs, for they are a sub-specialty which requires a keen knowledge of the laws and how frequently they change. I also will not handle a homicide where the state is asking for the death penalty. I am adamantly opposed to the death penaly, and will not assist the state in its endeavor to kill its citizens. Beyond those two areas, I am ready, willing and able to assist you in your quest for justice within the system.. Eleanor L. Miller

I have been engaged in the practice of law for over 20 years, advocating for the interests of injured persons and victims during the entirety of that time. I graduated from The University of New Mexico in Albuquerque with Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1989, after which time I graduated from the University of Iowa with a Masters of Arts Degree in 1993. Following graduate school, I attended Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee, WI, receiving the Juris Doctor (J.D.) law degree in 1997. I first practiced law in New Mexico and have been actively engaged in the private practice of law in Phoenix since 2003. Currently, I hold law licenses in three states: New Mexico, Wisconsin and Arizona. I am also licensed to practice law in Federal District Court for the District of Arizona.Douglas Loefgren. My time spent as a prosecutor allowed me to assist crime victims and to gain a wealth of legal knowledge. After prosecution, I had the privilege of working for a very prestigious valley firm in the field of personal injury law. Combining my civil and criminal experience, I have first-chaired three dozen jury trials, far more trials than most lawyers conduct in their entire career. Currently, I am accepting clients who received injuries from automobile collisions, and those that have uninsured and under-insured motorist claims and insurance disputes. I also handle cases involving injuries from dog bites, premises liability claims, wrongful death claims, and the like. I look forward to the opportunity of putting my experience and knowledge to work for you.

I have a passion for helping small businesses and individuals figure out interesting legal problems and get practical results. I also find great value in helping those who have been injured to regain something of what they have lost. When I'm not working, I enjoy reading widely, being active in my church, and spending time with my family.
I have a civil litigation practice involving primarily personal injury, insurance and commercial disputes. I also have a very active ADR practice averaging 180-200 private mediatins and arbitrations annually. I am a certified specialist in personal injury and wrongful dealth litigation.
I have 22 years of experience as an attorney, the last 20 of which has been in the field of plaintiff's personal injury law. I have handled both simple and complex cases, ranging from soft tissue injuries motor vehicle accidents to catastrophic injuries and death cases arising from many different types of from accidents and defective products. I am equally comfortable in and out of the courtroom. I treat my clients with respect and compassion. I treat my opponents with respect and professionalism. Such conduct has led to many personal referrals from colleagues, opponents, past clients, and friends. I've gotten many referrals from clients whose cases I had handled more than ten years prior. In addition to a law degree, I also have a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice/Corrections and a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology. Before attending law school, I spent 12 years working in social services, where I worked primarily with at-risk youth, homeless adolescents and families, and in job counseling/placement and training programs for indigent adults. I believe that my prior experience gives me an insight into relating to injured victims and how their lives can be affected on so many levels.
