Her great grandparents were some of the first homesteaders in the Graham/ Orting area where she grew up riding horses and climbing trees. Jacque graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a triple major in political science, communications and business economics. She attended law school at the University of Puget Sound (now known as Seattle University School of Law). After law school, and proving to be a glutton for punishment, Jacque went on to receive her LL.M in Taxation from Golden Gate University School of Law where she graduated with honors.

I also served in the United States Military as an Army Aviator and Safety Officer and retired from military service is in 2005.
