David A. Goldsmith began his career as a lawyer in 2004 working for a boutique defense firm specializing in breach of warranty and product liability litigation. Much of this early experience was devoted to defending major automobile manufacturers in lemon law cases.. In 2009, one of his firm's clients, Bentley Motors, Inc., hired David to manage its Consumer Affairs for the Americas region, which included United States, Canada, Mexico, South America and the Caribbean. In his initial role at Bentley, David set consumer policy and procedure, advised on federal and state regulation, trained dealership and internal personnel, drafted warranty manuals, and directed customer service involving product claims. He also directed internal personnel in pre-litigation, and outside counsel in litigation of consumer claims, including lemon law cases.. David's role at Bentley later expanded to include aspects of product marketing, communications, customer relationship management systems, Product Placement, management of VIP affairs for the Americas region, and fleet sales initiatives.
