Linton began practicing law immediately after graduating from The University of Georgia School of Law.  Taking a position as an Assistant Public Defender with the Enotah Judicial Circuit in Dahlonega, Georgia gave Linton the courtroom experience he was looking for.  Being able to represent those that would otherwise have their voices stifled by experienced government prosecutors is what gave Linton the confidence to push and work his cases until the desired goal had been achieved.. I spent almost two years in Lumpkin, Towns, Union and White Counties defending people in Superior Court.  I defended people charged with simple misdemeanors, DUIs, drugs offenses, and serious felony matters.. After my time in Enotah I was recruited by the Public Defender's Office in the Northeastern Circuit.  I represented clients in that circuit for drug crimes, probation violations, felony matters, and misdeeanors.  During my time as a Assistant Public Defender I represented hundres of clients in all tyes of cases.  I was able to learn how to defend a case and I was able to help people at the same time..
