I'm a California native who went to high school in Sacramento, got my undergraduate degree at Stanford, and my law degree back home here in Sacramento, where I graduated as Valedictorian of my law school class. I also have a multiple subject teaching credential and worked with behavior disordered children in the Elk Grove School District. I now live a few doors down from my precious mom in Campus Commons where it is my privilege to help her age in place.. Activites I've been passionate about include: Serving on several boards for performing-arts organizations, border-collie rescue - fostering and finding forever-homes for dogs whose luck had otherwise run out, volunteered for Family Promise to help families find housing and get back on their feet. Other interests include sheep-herding, birding, photography, needle arts, rockhounding, lapidary arts, and quilting..
