I was raised in San Antonio, Texas and I love being a Texan.. I have been an attorney since 2005 and co-owned a law firm. I had the pleasure of joining The Voeller Law Firm this year in May, 2020.. It is my passion to help families in Texas protect their legacies and prepare for difficult times due to incapacity or death of a loved one.

I grew up in the small town of Hallettsville, Texas and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio. Prior to law school I worked as a petroleum landman where I researched title to land for oil and gas companies. I continued to work as a landman during and after law school. My knowledge in tracing mineral title and conducting genealogy research helped me make a natural transition into probate law and estate planning.. I take pride in my ability to navigate through the legal process while maintaining a compassionate understanding for the feelings and intentions of those that I am privileged to help in the San Antonio community. The city of San Antonio is special to me because it is where I met my husband and we started our own family.. I know how important it is to plan for the future and to protect our loved ones. I also know how difficult it is to go through the probate procedure after losing someone that you love. It is rewarding and I feel honored to help my clients as they make decisions that protect the people they care about the most.

I graduated from Baylor University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Financial Services & Planning and International Business. In December 1997, I received my J.D. from St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas. I am licensed to practice in Texas and the Federal Courts for the Western and Southern Districts of Texas.. My law practice has an emphasis on the representation of condominium and homeowners' associations in general legal matters, assessment collection, and covenant enforcement actions.  During several sessions of the Texas Legislature, I provided testimony in front of various Texas House of Representative and Senate Committees regarding bills related to the operation, management, and authority of homeowners associations.. Professionally, I am a member of:. I have been a speaker for many Community Association Institute educational programs and for Lorman Educational Services regarding various association related topics. Additionally, I am involved with volunteer work and fundraising for various causes in the community. My husband of 16 years and I  three school aged children. I am passionate about cooking, nutrition, Smart Barre classes, gardening, and travel.

I focus on probate and estate planning almost exclusively because I am passionate about helping people navigate and avoid unnecessary grief and hardship. Adam was born in Wichita, Kansas and attended the University of Kansas and the Washburn University School of Law before moving to Texas to begin his career. He was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity and wrote for the University Daily Kansan. While in law school, he joined the Legal Analysis, Research, and Writing department as a teaching assistant, and worked for the university’s Criminal Defense Clinic.. While in Kansas, Adam worked in disability rights, criminal defense, and lobbying. After becoming a member of the Texas Bar, he worked in Austin doing judgment enforcement and helping clients protect their Second Amendment rights with National Firearm Act Trusts before moving to San Antonio to join the Nichols Law Firm in 2015.
