In December 1997, I received my J.D. from St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas. I am licensed to practice in Texas and the Federal Courts for the Western and Southern Districts of Texas.. My law practice has an emphasis on the representation of condominium and homeowners' associations in general legal matters, assessment collection, and covenant enforcement actions. During several sessions of the Texas Legislature, I provided testimony in front of various Texas House of Representative and Senate Committees regarding bills related to the operation, management, and authority of homeowners associations.. Professionally, I am a member of:. I have been a speaker for many Community Association Institute educational programs and for Lorman Educational Services regarding various association related topics. Additionally, I am involved with volunteer work and fundraising for various causes in the community. My husband of 16 years and I three school aged children. I am passionate about cooking, nutrition, Smart Barre classes, gardening, and travel.
