I started out in a boutique patent firm, then in a large general practice firm before staring an in-house career at Zimmer a global manufacturer of orthopedic implants. I relocated to Norther California in 2006 and vas fraction VP of IP and GC to three spinoffs (Cierra, Cabochon and evalve) of The Foundry (a prolific incubator). EValve was acquired by Abbott in 2009 and I was Senior IP Counsel at Abbott Vascular until 2015.. I was fractional VP of IP and GC at Invuity and Graftworx (now Alio) since 2015.
