My practice primarily focuses on real estate (transactions and litigation). But I work with and advise small to medium sized companies on all aspects of their businesses.. As lead counsel I have conducted numerous jury trials, bench trials, arbitrations and appeals. I have experience in all phases of civil litigation and trial. I have also represented clients before the Registrar of Contractors and the Department of Real Estate.. While in law school, I served as the Articles Editor for the Energy Law Journal. After law school, I worked for a well-established firm in Las Vegas, Nevada. I also spent some time working as in-house counsel for a real estate development company. Before joining the Frutkin Law Firm, I was  the Managing Partner of Buck Edmunds PLC, an Arizona law firm with a focus on real estate law and litigation.. When I am not working I love to fly fish and spend time with my wife and three kids.

Gordon Dudley provides both litigation and transactional representation for his clients.  He has over 25 years of civil litigation experience in state and federal courts.  He concentrates his practice primarily on commercial litigation matters, from the simple to the complex.  Mr. Dudley’s areas of practice have included intellectual property, real estate and construction law, unfair business practices, and securities litigation.  Additionally, he provides transactional assistance for clients, including business entity formation, as well as contract preparation and review in a broad variety of commercial areas.. Mr. Dudley is a member of the Arizona History Convention Board and a member of the VistaCare Hospice Foundation Board of Directors.. Mr. Dudley received his undergraduate degree, with distinction, from Arizona State University.  His Juris Doctorate, also acknowledge with distinction, is from the University of Arizona, where he was an associate editor of the Arizona Law Review and a member of the Order of the Coif.  He served as a Judge Advocate in the United States Marine Corps from 1974 to 1978.

Carolyn R. Tatkin brings to the Firm over 25 years of broad legal experience in areas including insurance coverage and bad faith litigation, construction defect litigation, general business and commercial litigation, as well as a concentration in business and consumer bankruptcy law. Her experience includes both trial and appellate work in state and federal courts, encompassing all aspects of motion practice and oral advocacy, including oral arguments before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Ninth Circuit Bankruptcy Appellate Panel. Ms. Tatkin has also been a presenter and co-author of materials for several state and county bar sponsored bankruptcy seminars, from basic to more advanced levels of bankruptcy expertise.. Carolyn is originally from Ohio, where she graduated from Ohio State University and Cleveland Marshall College of Law. Her horses are her lifelong hobby and her passion. She lives in Scottsdale with her husband, teenage son and daughter, dogs, cat and horses.
