Peter F. Erik Wise is a graduate of the Seattle University School of Law, where he was the recipient of the Law Trustee's Scholarship and two CALI Awards for Excellence. Prior to being a lawyer, Erik was a public elementary school teacher in South King County. He was named Teacher of the Year in 2006 and obtained his National Board Teacher Certification in 2009. Erik's interest in legal issues began early in his teaching career, when he served as a union representative. Having worked assiduously to protect his fellow teachers' contractual rights, he brings that same passion and interest today to his work as a family law and estate planning attorney with Eric A. Eric has practiced law in Washington for nearly 20 years. He has considerable experience in business and tax planning, including not-for-profit, commercial contracts, start-up and emerging companies, mergers and acquisitions, real estate purchase and sale and leasing; estate planning and probate matters; business succession; and trusts and estates litigation. His practice also includes sports and entertainment transactions, representing athletes, filmmakers, and other creators in copyright and trademark, advertising, distribution, television and motion picture contracts, film production, post-production, and digital content..
