My practice emphasizes residential landlord-tenant litigation and practice. I represent clients in designing their operations to avoid legal issues, from the first sign of trouble through settlement, arbitration or trial; and, when necessary, to judgment enforcement or appeal. I use my experience working and writing for local judges to frame cases in the best light for my clients. I am a familar face to many in the landlord-tenant field. I serve on the Board of Directors for the Rental Housing Association of Wahington and act as the Co-Chair of the Legislative Committee. I have testified before cities as well as the Washington Legislature on landlord-tenant laws. I am also a regular speaker at landlord-tenant seminars for attorneys and real estate brokers; a partial list of presentation topics is included on my main profile page. I am a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the Real Property, Probate and Trust Section, and the Debtor Creditor Rights Section.  I am also licensed to practice in the United States District Court and United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Washington. Prior to entering private practice, I was a law clerk to Chief Judge Marywave Van Deren of Division II of the Washington Court of Appeals as well as a volunteer for the King County Bar Association's Housing Justice Project and for the Tenant Law Center, a division of Catholic Community Services of Western Washington.

My practice deals primarily with landlord-tenant relations.  My team and I have helped thousands of clients in Seattle and throughout Washington State to resolve difficult legal disputes involving evictions, litigation, post-foreclosure matters, leases and other landlord-tenant disputes. I am available for teaching and speaking engagements to lecture on best practices in landlord-tenant law.

Ms. Goetz' practice focuses on employment law (including the drafting, negotiating and enforcement of confidentiality and non-competition agreements) as well as real estate and construction law. Additionally, Ms. Goetz counsels women and minority owned businesses seeking certification under the state's Minority/Women Business Enterprise Program and the U.S. Department of Transportation's (DOT) Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program, as well as certifications from national organizations such as the Women's Business Enterprise National Council. Ms. Goetz has been a speaker at various continuing legal education seminars regarding commercial landlord tenant issues, as well as to various trade organizations, such as the local chapters of the American Society of Heating and Refrigeration Engineers (ASHRAE) on her "Top Ten Tips to Avoid Lawyers." A competitive swimmer in college, Theresa maintains the desire to win and uses this to obtain the best results for her clients.. A former record holder in the 200 backstroke at Washington State University, Ms. Goetz is still an avid (albeit slower) swimmer, and enjoys gardening, gourmet cooking and downhill skiing in her spare time.

Mr. Ahlers' practice focuses on the resolution of construction disputes. Marc Winters’ practice encompasses a wide range of real estate and business transactions, predominantly involving the financing, acquisition, development, management, restructuring, and disposition of commercial real estate projects and branded assets. He also counsels pension fund advisory firms and tax-exempt investors on a variety of issues relating to the structuring of business transactions and all aspects of real estate investments.Mr. Winters has negotiated, documented, and closed eight- and nine-figure deals for many types of clients, including joint venture groups, pension funds, public development authorities, school districts, state agencies, banks, lenders, developers, and other businesses. I am a former creditor attorney.  I now exclusively represent consumers in bankrutpcy, debt settlement, debt litigation (FDCPA, RCW 19.16, RCW 19.86), and tenant rights.. My background as a former creditor side and former landlord side attorney gives me a well rounded approach in defending and counter attacking against creditors, debt collectors, and landlords.  Not every case is complicated but often there are complexities in what appears to be simple cases.  I give each case and client a thorough analysis for litigation, settlement, bankruptcy, and out of court options.. Prior to law school, I obtained my B.A. in Psychology and served in the U.S. Air Force (active and reserve) for nearly ten years during which I deployed for Operation Enduring Freedom in support of post 9/11 operations.  I currently live in beautiful Mill Creek, WA with my wife and two children.  During my free time I enjoy cooking, travelling, martial arts, reading, and rooting for the Seahawks.

Eric Brunstrom focuses his practice on trust, probate, fiduciary, and guardianship litigation and administration as well as matters brought under TEDRA and the vulnerable adult statute. Prior to joining Aiken St. Louis & Siljeg, P.S. in 2016, Eric was a partner at Reed, Longyear, Malnati and Ahrens, PLLC and Tarutis & Brunstrom, PS.. He currently serves as a Pro-Tempore Ex Parte Commissioner for the King County Superior Court. He also serves as a Guardian ad Litem for Probate, Litigation, and Settlement matters for the King County Superior Court. He was the 2016/2017 Chair of the Guardianship and Elder Law Section GELS of the KCBA and is a current Program Co-Chair. He is an Outreach Co-chair for the WSBA Elder Law Section and a member of the Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law section of the KCBA. He served as a Vice-Chair on the Task Force on Substance Use Disorders & Mental Health of the Health Law Section of the ABA and as a Co-Chair of the Professional Licensure Subsection of the WSBA Health Law Section. He is admitted to practice in Washington, the Western District of Washington, and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
