My practice is focused on all aspects of real estate and business transactions.  I draft and negotiate commercial leases, ground leases, purchase and sale agreements, joint venture agreements, merger or redemption agreements, loan and financing documents, entity and formation documents, and corporate documents, as well as most other documents involved in a typical M&A transaction or real estate venture, project or transaction.  I also assist contractors, subcontractors, owners, developers and design professionals with negotiating construction contracts, design contracts and related agreements.

Mr. Lingg has served as the managing shareholder at Forsberg & Umlauf, P.S. since January 1, 2012.  His tort and insurance practice includes a wide range of defense matters including personal injury, construction defect, professional liability, product and premises liability, and commercial claims.. Grant’s practice concentrates on the defense of contractors and design professionals facing both personal injury and building defect/warranty cases.  His work has required him to bring and defend contractual indemnity and contribution/subrogation claims, and has included the defense of home warranty disputes.  He has extensive experience defending clients against premises liability, vehicle accident and product liability actions.  He has also defended banks, credit card companies and lenders in commercial actions.  Grant serves as arbitrator under the King and Pierce County Arbitration systems.  He has served as a Member of the Board of the Washington Defense Trial Lawyers and is a past editor of the WDTL’s “Defense News.”

Marty is a Shareholder at Forsberg & Umlauf, P.S. His practice areas include construction defect, general liability, personal injury, product liability, insurance coverage, employment, UIM, and insurer "bad faith"/extracontractual liability litigation. Marty earned his B.A. degree from the University of Puget Sound and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Gonzaga University School of Law. He is a member of the Washington State, King County, Pierce County, Nevada State and the District of Columbia bar associations and the Washington Defense Trial Lawyers.

Jeff's practice focuses on the defense of professional liability claims.  He has defended clients in a broad range of other claims as well, including personal injury, product liability, toxic torts and premises liability. Prior to beginning his law practice, he served as a judicial extern to a federal appellate court judge in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
