Eryn received her law degree in 2006 from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University, graduating cum laude. She was an Executive Editor of the BYU Journal of Public Law and a local finalist in the Giles S. Rich Intellectual Property Moot Court Competition. Law school is where Eryn first realized her aptitude for estate planning, receiving the highest grade in her Wills and Estates class. She took every estate planning class available. After law school, Eryn worked for two years as Associate Counsel for the Alameda County Pension Fund in Oakland, California, where she advised the Board of Retirement and Executive Officers on matters including disability retirement and distribution of retirement benefits upon divorce and 2020, Eryn opened her own legal practice with a focus on Estate Planning. She enjoys serving others and has volunteered with Wills for Heroes, Utah Legal Services, and Timpanogos Legal Center. She knows how important it is to get to know her clients on a personal level so that their needs are met.

Born in Northern California, Benjamin N. Shaffer has traveled to, and lived in, more than a dozen states. He spent many of his formative years in rural eastern Utah, and loved the Beehive state enough to return to practice law and raise his children here. Before becoming an attorney he was a teacher in Tucson AZ, and also taught for two years at an international school in Taipei Taiwan. Married since 2002, Benjamin and Windy Shaffer have four children, all girls, ages 4-12. Benjamin is a graduate of the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law, and of Southern Utah University, graduating with his law degree in 2014. He is a licensed attorney in Utah and Arizona.
