Bradley B. Wilson - Personal Profile. Brad was born in Columbia, Missouri in 1965. He is a graduate of Griffin High School in Springfield, Illinois and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Missouri-Columbia. In 1996, Brad received his Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, from the Northern Illinois University College of Law. While in law school, Brad was named to the Dean’s list each semester, awarded the Dean’s Scholarship for academic excellence in 1994-95 and 1995-96 and was a recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award for Constitutional Law II.. After graduating from law school, Brad was appointed to the position of Administrative Law Judge with the Illinois State Labor Relations Board. As an Administrative Law Judge with the ISLRB, Brad oversaw union certification and de-certification elections, presided over administrative hearings addressing disputes between organized labor organizations and the State of Illinois and drafted recommended findings and decisions for adoption by the Labor Relations Board.. From March,1998 through January, 2001, Brad represented the City of Springfield, Illinois as an associate corporation counsel. In that capacity, Brad was primarily responsible for handling the City’s Labor and Employment Law issues and cases, and acting as the legal advisor for the City’s Civil Service Commission.
