Parker graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from California State University, Long Beach in 2002.  Ms. Parker spent the next year serving as the Constituent Services Specialist for a local assemblymember.  In 2003 Ms. Parker went on to pursue her law degree at Chapman University School of Law where she graduated Cum Laude in May 2006.  While in law school, Ms. Parker served as a criminal defense law clerk for the firm of Buckner, Khouri, Chavos and Mirkovich and for the Office of the Orange County Public Defender.  As a law clerk for Buckner, Khouri, Chavos, and Mirkovich, Ms. Parker worked on the high profile federal public defender case that the public coined the Mexican Mafia trial for over one year.  Upon passing the bar in 2006, Ms. Parker became an associate of Buckner, Khouri, Chavos, and Mirkovich and was able to represent a number of different clients in the fields of criminal defense and administrative law..
