He is authorized to practice before the Supreme Court of Texas, the USCIS/DHS, the Board of Immigration Appeals, the IRS, and all Immigration Courts of the United States. He currently is a Professor in the University of Houston Law Center Immigration Clinic.. Mr. Alimohammad was brought up believing heavily in community service, and credits his Grandfather and Father for instilling that value at an early age.  He is the Legal Counsel and Board member for the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce.  He is also a Board member for the Katy Bar Association.  From 2009-2012, he was the Legal Member for His Highness Prince Aga Khan Shia Imami Ismaili Council for Southwestern United States.  He has taken cases on behalf of the YMCA International Services, the Houston Volunteer Lawyers Program and Fort Bend Lawyers Care. For his efforts, he was recognized by the Pro Bono College of Texas for outstanding community service.. Already a CPA after receiving an Accounting Degree from the University of Texas in 1996, he went to University of Houston Law Center and graduated with a Juris Doctorate in 2001..
