McDonald began his legal career in 2001 as a felony trial prosecutor in Henderson County where he prosecuted thousands of felony cases ranging from capital murder to minor felony drug cases. David is board-certified in Criminal Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Twenty six years ago David began his career as a prosecutor for the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. He remained there for seven years before moving on to his private practice.  His practice now represents federal and state criminal matters for individuals and corporations.. David has a very strong devotion to his family. He has a great amount of courtroom trial experience. He has worked on the opposite side of the docket from which he now practices. As a result, he readies his cases with the insight of how the government lawyers are likely to operate, respond, and evaluate cases
