Prior to my private law practice, I served in the United States Army as a Captain and Judge Advocate General (JAG). As a JAG, I regularly advised senior Army leaders on the rules of engagement and the law of war.. I also served as the lead prosecutor for two combat brigades where he successfully prosecuted a variety of felonies, including murder, attempted murder, assault, larceny, identity theft, and drug distribution. I currently serve in the United States Army Reserve as a Major.. Recognized in H Texas Magazin as one of "Houston's Top Lawyers" and one of "Houston's Top Young Professionals on the Fast Track,"I am also a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, a former director of the Hispanic Bar Association of Houston and a past Co-Editor of the Harris County Bench Book. In addition, I regularly give back to the community by representing indigent clients through Fort Bend Lawyers Care, Houston Volunteer Lawyers Program and Texas Appleseed. I am a member of the Fort Bend County Bar Association, the Houston Bar Association and a graduate of the Houston Young Lawyers Association Leadership Academy..
