I have adopted an income-based approach to legal fees I charge new clients. Every client is assessed at the first meeting to determine how much of a discount they will receive, and every client who has a household income less than $100,000 will receive a discount, some up to 40% off of my standard hourly rate.. This is my attempt to align hourly rates with what people can actually afford to pay, and even extends to the retainer, which is calculated based upon ten hours at the discounted hourly rate.. I went to UW in Tacoma for my undergraduate degree and obtained my JD from Seattle University School of Law in 2014.  When I am not working, I am spending time with my family and my dogs, volunteering at my church and within local legal aid clinics, swimming, and baking cupcakes.

I was an associate editor of the law review.  While in law school I began to intern in a criminal defense firm. I enjoyed that work so much, I opened my own practice in 1997.  Since that time i have been proudly serving clients in serious injury cases and select criminal matters.
