Prior to starting his own firm, Mr. Lea had the fortunate opportunity to work under Alan Maestas for three years. While working as an associate for Mr. Maestas his primary focuses were in the areas of motions practice and litigation. He took on the primary responsibility of preparing major felony cases for trial. Since then, he has expanded his areas of knowledge into various contract, property, domestic, corporate, and environmental issues. Currently, Mr. Lea sits on the Planning and Zoning Commission for the Town of Taos.. Before Taos, Mr. Lea was an attorney in Washington, D.C. with a corporate antitrust law firm. There, Mr. Lea worked on one major antitrust matter for two years before moving on to Taos for a more comprehensive interaction with law.. Mr. Lea attended Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In law school, he was the Secretary of the Sports Law Society. His focuses were a wide variety.
