Since I was young, I’ve always looked up to superheroes. Of their many endearing qualities, what I admire most about them was that they always gave their all, no matter the consequence to themselves, to protect cities from incredible, insurmountable forces they couldn’t protect themselves from.. The dedication superheroes have to serve and protect their citizens became so ingrained within me that throughout my childhood I strove to become a superhero. Graduating from the University of California, Los Angeles with honors, I finally realized while I could never develop invisibility or incredible strength, I could harness my natural power of communicating.. During my three years at Loyola Law School, I honed my communication powers serving as the President of the Armenian Law Student Association, Chairman of the National Armenian Law Student Association, and as the youngest Governor on the Armenian Bar Association, I took the time to create a free legal clinic in Hollywood, California for people to come in and ask questions of licensed attorneys for free when they had nowhere else to turn too. I was selected to compete in the ICC International Commercial Mediation Competition and I further refined my negotiation skills and pushed our school to the top 16 of 64 competing countries—the furthest out school had ever reached.. Throughout my time at Loyola Law School, I found that the closest way to become a superhero is through the practice of law. Our profession is a noble one that is not to be taken for granted. The vast amount of faith and trust placed within us is of utmost importance, and I look at myself and know that I want to be your voice when you are voiceless.. I have shared all of this information with you because I feel it is important you know who it is you are choosing to fight for you. I hope this could shed some light and make the Law Offices of Sarkis S. Yeretsian your first choice when you are in need of an attorney.

I enjoy helping people handle their legal matters affordably. My entire career has been focused on offering low flat fees to people for divorce, legal separation, annulment and other family law matters. Often people come to us after having tried to handle their legal matters on their own and are lost. We amend petitions when needed and complete the process when we are able to do so. It's always rewarding when people begin to understand the court process and find a way to move forward. I also prepare Estate Planning documents for affordable rates and help people understand how to protect themselves and their family.. In addition, I have been practicing Probate law for over 40 years. In this area, I advise clients about the distribution of assets that may be needed when a family member has passed. When a Probate is needed, I explain the process in the court and guide the client with regard to the decisions that have to be made.. Aside from the law, I have always been interested in sports, especially basketball and tennis. I played Division I basketball for the University of Rhode Island. Later I took up tennis and helped coach my son who played number 1 at Columbia and played professional tennis for several years around the globe.. I also enjoy reading historical non-fiction and have completed books on John Adams, Roosevelt/Taft and Napoleon.. I work with my wife Brenda who handles the marketing for my law firm.

I come from a family steeped in public service – my father was a social worker and my sister was a legal aid attorney. My father instilled in us the responsibilities of giving back and taught us that knowledge was the key to success in life.. As a former legal aid attorney myself, I am intimately aware of the need for greater education about the legal process. As an estate planning and elder law attorney, my work impacts people in a personal and tangible ways. I love working with clients, connecting with them, and helping them and their families plan for life’s uncertainties.

Hello there,. Thank you for taking the time to read about me. I am grateful that I am able to be an attorney. I feel like my natural talents and desires pair well with this career. I have always enjoyed performing from a very young age. I do not remember the name of the first production that I was involved in, but I do remember that I was an elf that sang a solo as Elvis. I have been hooked ever since. Some of my favorite shows that I have done are Romeo and Juliet, A Winter’s Tale, Hamlet, and Bus Stop. There is a wonderful feeling that accompanies performing for an audience. I believe that this talent for performance will assist me while I negotiate settlements or persuade a jury why they should find in my client’s favor.. I also have a very competitive side. I believe that being competitive is a trait that every attorney should possess. My father enrolled me in all kinds of sports from a very young age. I remember him coaching me and pushing me to be my very best. I am very grateful for my father. Ever since I was young, he instilled in me the importance of competition. My frame is not necessarily built for football. However, my dad helped me to learn to believe in myself and to not make excuses. Throughout high school I would workout twice a day and study defenses around the clock. By the time I was a senior, I was able to lead my football team to a state championship and I was named to the all-state team. I am very grateful for the lessons in competition that my father and various sports have taught me. I know these traits will assist me as I argue relentlessly for my clients.. I believe that serving others is very important. I volunteered in Toronto, Canada for two years serving those with lesser means. I am not sure if I have ever been happier than when I was serving those around me full-time and not taking too much time to think about myself. Currently, I volunteer in my church organization and teach and mentor high school students. Serving others has helped me to understand and empathize better with those around me. This increased understanding and empathy will assist me as I connect with my clients during some of their most difficult times.. I graduated from Arizona State University for my undergraduate degree but knew that I wanted to live in Los Angeles. My wife and I both have an intense love for this city. We love the many cultures and rich history of Los Angeles. We love the arts. I graduated from Loyola Law School and have not looked back. Los Angeles is my home and I am grateful for the warm welcome that I have received.. I am excited for the future and I hope that Lucero & Yeretsian LLP will be your first choice when you need an attorney.. Sincerely,. George A. Lucero, Esq.
