William L. Melton is the founding attorney of Melton Law. William has taken pride in serving his clients and his community for many years. This new law substantially increased the amount of time that non-custodial parents receive with their children. Additionally, William is an appointed member by the governor to a state Child Support Guidelines Committee. The committee is responsible for making recommendations to the legislature for changes to the child support guidelines.. William has worked on hundreds of different cases from minor traffic infractions to major sex crimes and white collar crimes. William is an experienced trial attorney with experience on all sides of a criminal case. During law school William clerked for the Hon. Judge Parker in the Third Judicial District Court, he assisted clients in the Idaho Street Law Clinic, and worked in the Utah County Attorney's Office prosecuting cases in both their misdemeanor and major crimes divisions. Skyler Anderson is one of the founding partners of ANDERSON & BENSON,  PLLC, a Utah based law firm practicing primarily in immigration and criminal defense. Dating back to his first year in law school through pro bono clinics and internships, Skyler’s focus has always been immigration law.  As an attorney, he has successfully navigated clients through the tangled webs of immigration law through U.S. embassies and consulates throughout the world, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, and the immigration and appellate courts. Few things give him more satisfaction than successfully fighting off any given branch of the government seeking to infringe upon the basic human rights of individuals and families.. Skyler lived for two years in southern Chile, where he became fluent in Spanish and where he developed a love for foreign cultures. Upon returning to the United States, Skyler continued his study of the language, receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from Brigham Young University in 2007. He went on to receive his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law in 2009.. Skyler has served on the executive committee of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) since May of 2012. He has held leadership positions and/or volunteered at the Horizonte Pro Bono Immigration Clinic since 2008. He is a former judicial clerk for the Immigration Court in Salt Lake City, Utah. He has been recognized for his service to the minority community by the NAACP, and was a recipient of the College of Law Outstanding Achievement Award in Immigration Law.

I love being an attorney and I love living in the great state of Utah. I have grown up here most of my life and I love helping people with their legal issues. I am a weekend warrior and love the outdoors, waterskiing, camping, 4-wheeling, soccer, volleyball are some of my passions. I also am a scout leader for 11 yr old scouts which is awesome. I am also a new father and love spending time together as a famly.
