He started what became a substantial bankruptcy practice in 1982 when he represented Clifford Wolfswinkel in bankruptcy court in his dispute with his brothers. After that, he continued doing work in the bankruptcy court in several commercial cases.. Tom left the Treon firm in 1987 to practice in Chandler as Littler & Miller for a short time before forming Warnicke & Littler, P.L.C. in 1989 to perform the bankruptcy examination of Charlie Keating’s American Continental Corporation.. After twenty three years with his own firm, he joined the Las Vegas firm of Gordon Silver in March of 2010 to open and build its first Arizona office. He left Gordon Silver in August, 2013 to practice as a sole practitioner in order to provide less expensive and more personal service to his clients.. Tom was a judge pro tem of the Maricopa County Superior Court presiding over mediations and jury trials for fifteen years.. --. Personal Life. Tom was born in Buffalo, New York on October 10, 1954. He moved to Phoenix with his family in 1957.  He went to grade school in west Phoenix and graduated from West Phoenix High School in 1972.  He played the drums in both grade school and in the marching band at West High.  Tom obtained his Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, in General Business Administration from the ASU College of Business in 1978 and graduated from the Arizona State University School of Law in 1981.  In law school he was on the Moot Court Board, was a member of the Order of the Coif, and participated every year as a writer and actor in the annual Law Follies. Tom now resides in Tempe.. Tom is married and has three children. His daughter, who graduated from the University of Southern California (English; Creative Writing) and Kings College, London (English Literature) is an editor at St. Martin’s Press in New York City; his son graduated from New York University (Dramatic Writing) and is a writer-producer living in New York City. His fourteen-year-old daughter was adopted from China and attends Basis Ahwatukee.. In his free time, Tom runs half marathons (ten so far), plays the drums (drum set in the basement), reads all kinds of literature – especially biographies, history and politics – and travels the world.

It wasn’t always easy balancing family and school while maintaining a growing financial services company.  But with the help of my wife and others, along with some divine intervention, I graduated with honors (summa cum laude) in 2014.  The rest is history.  Now I spend my time helping individuals and families create and maintain solid estate plans – truly an important work!. On a more personal note:. Before becoming an attorney, I grew up in Scottsdale, went to Horizon High School, and then joined the United States Marine Corps Reserves.  Following my active duty training, I went on a 2 year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and later graduated from Arizona State University – go Sun Devils!  Along the way I moved to Mesa where I met my sweetheart – Jennifer.  We were married in 1999 and have since been blessed with 6 children (4 boys & 2 girls)!  So when I’m not at work, I’m usually playing with my family, fixing up the house, or playing basketball.
