I practice in the areas of family law, juvenile, and adoption law. I've been working in the private field since 2018. Before private practice, I worked at the Arizona Attorney General's Office as an Assistant Attorney General and gained experience in juvenile dependency law. Prior to my employment at the Attorney General's Office, I completed an externship in a solo practitioner's law firm, clerked in Maricopa County Family Court, and was an administrative assistant in the Mesa office of the Arizona Attorney General's Office.. Aside for the legal experience, I have a variety of prior work experience that assists me now in understanding my client's needs. For example, I have previously worked in a copper mine (Asarco) as a maintenance clerk. From that experience, I learned that mines are inflexible as it relates to time off, schedules cannot be changed except during bid, and time off is scarce. I am from a small community, where several of my current cases are located. This previous work experience has assisted me in truly being able to serve the needs of this underserved area in Southern Arizona.. I attended school in various places. I graduated from an incredibly small high school in San Manuel Arizona. I attended community college with Central Arizona College. I completed my undergraduate degree at Arizona State University while I worked full time at Asarco. Then I went on to Arizona Summit Law School where I worked full time during the day in the courtroom across the street and went to school at night.. Currently, I work primarily in Tucson, Arizona. However, I've also worked in Pinal, Gila, and Maricopa County. COVID-19 has created great changes in the legal community but has also created the ability to work in various areas to assist my clients. To best serve my clients throughout this pandemic, I offer video consultation or telephonic depending on your preferences. It is a tough time for all, but I have adapted my practice to best suit the needs of my clients.
