Through zealous representation of my clients I have won hundreds and hundreds of cases. My comprehensive knowledge of the Social Security law and regulations coupled with my diligent development of my cases has made me one of the top representatives in the Tulsa area. Mr. Troutman received his first degree from the University of Oklahoma with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering (with special distinction) in 1972. Prior to attending law school, Steve worked for many years in various senior management and engineering positions.. Steve received his law degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law in the month of May 1999, graduating as Valedictorian of a class of 1999. He attended law school at night, while maintaining full-time employment. While he was in law school, Mr. Troutman also became a Teaching Assistant for Legal Authorities, he was on staff for the Tulsa Law Journal, and he was a member of legal fraternity Phi Delta Phi.. Mr. Troutman received numerous honors and awards from the University of Tulsa’s school of Law, including the Martin Fellows Smith Award; the Gable & Gotwals Outstanding Third-Year and Second-Year Student awards; the Judge W. Lee Johnson Award; the West Group Outstanding Scholastic Achievement Award; the F.M. Mr. Troutman began working on Tulsa Social Security disability cases with Mrs. Troutman in May of 1998, while he was still in law school. He was admitted to practice law by the Bar of the State of Oklahoma in September of 1999, and later by the Bar of the State of Kansas in July of 2000. He is currently admitted to practice before the all of the federal courts in Oklahoma, Kansas, and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. I grew up in a small town in rural New Mexico. I attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah where I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Psychology. I then moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma to attend law school at the University of Tulsa College of Law.. I have a wife and four children. When I'm not battling at work to protect the rights and dignities of clients, I enjoy being at home with them.  My hobbies and interests include raising backyard chickens, gardening and doing home improvement projects.. Having been preparing bankruptcy cases for the last 5 years, I have filed more than five hundred Chapter 7 cases to date.  I enjoy the practice of bankruptcy because it allows me to truly help people at the time of their greatest financial need. Attorney Kristin D. Straily earned her J.D. cum laude in 2011 from the University of Tulsa.  She received her B.S. in Biological Sciences from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma.  She served as Combat Medic in the United States Army.. While at the University of Tulsa College of law, Ms. Straily was a member of the honor fraternity Phi Delta Phi, served as an articles editor for the Energy Law Journal, and competed in the National Health Law Moot Competition at Southern Illinois University.  She was also active in the Law & Medicine Society serving as President and in the Resources, Energy and Environmental Law Society as Vice President.. Ms. Straily has been admitted to practice in the State of Oklahoma as well as in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma.. Ms. Straily also volunteers for Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma and served as a board member for a local Federally Qualified Health Center.  She enjoys spending her free time with her family and volunteering..
