I practice primarily in workers' compensation helping injured workers and in personal injury law (car, truck and motorcycle accidents, dog bites, etc.).. I grew up in Des Moines and graduated from East High School. I worked my way through college while attending undergraduate at Iowa State, working for the city as a laborer and evenings for a hospital. Receiving my undergraduate degree in political science from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, where I played basketball for the Duhawks. After graduating from Loras College in 2009, I worked for Iowa’s U.S. Senator Tom Harkin in Washington, D.C, and later moved back to Iowa to work for U.S. Representative Bruce Braley in Waterloo, Cedar Rapids, and Des Moines and also served as the Iowa State Director for Martin O’Malley’s Presidential Caucus campaign in 2016..
