Stephanie L. Maddox received her Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2015, graduating cum laude. She received her Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2009, making the Dean’s List in her final two semesters. While in law school, Ms. Maddox focused on criminal law and obtained her Certificate of Concentration in Criminal Practice.. Ms. Maddox interned for the Office of the Public Defender for Baltimore City, Misdemeanor Jury Trial Division, in the summer following her first year of law school. Katrine H. Bakhtiary was raised in Waldorf, Charles County, Maryland. She received her Bachelor of Arts the University of Maryland, College Park and went on to attend and receive her Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Bakhtiary participated in the Innocence Project Clinic and served as a Recent Developments Editor for the University of Baltimore School of Law’s legal journal, Law Forum.
