Jared N. Hawkins is a native of Burns,Oregon. He received his law degree in 2004 from the J. Reuben Clark Law School atBrighamYoungUniversityinProvo,Utah, graduating with honors. Shortly after passing the bar inWashingtonhe entered the United States Air Force as a Judge Advocate (JAG). As a military attorney he had a diverse practice of law in advising military commanders, service members, and their families on a variety of matters including administrative law, employment law, contracts, environmental law, real property law, landlord/tenant disputes, wills, and criminal justice. Over the course of 6 ½ years he gained significant litigation experience serving in roles as both a prosecutor/government representative and a defense counsel in administrative proceedings and misdemeanor and felony level courts-martial. Jared joined Virtual In-House Counsel in September 2011 (he puchased the firm in November 2014 and changed the firm name to Hawkins Law, PLLC).  Since joining the firm, Jared’s practice has included issues related to employment law, unemployment compensation, municipal law, landlord-tenant disputes, contract litigation, general civil litigation, property law, estate planning, debt collection, small claims court, and a myriad of other matters.
