I decided to pursue my interest in tax law after some 28 years of legal practice in intellectual property and general corporate law.  I earned a Master of Science in Taxation from California State University East Bay in 2010 to launch my career in the tax field.  I worked for the Internal Revenue Service, including a stint as a Revenue Agent, to gain some practical inside knowledge concerning the IRS before "hanging out my shingle."I work with carefully selected clients with the goal of insuring that they are treated fairly by the federal and state tax authorities and that they pay only the minimum taxes legally required.  I also seek to educate my clients to minimize the likelihood of their experiencing future tax controversies.
