I aggressively defend service members in the Air Force, Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard worldwide and have been involved in some of the most notable American courts-martial and military cases. I fight for you in military trials throughout the United States, Europe, the Pacific, Africa and the Middle East.. I have practiced as a prosecutor, as a Division Chief of Military Justice, as a military defense attorney and then I was handpicked to train and advise Army defense lawyers worldwide for the U.S. Army Defense Counsel Assistance Program. During my time on active duty, I tried or consulted on the most well-known cases in military, some with worldwide recognition.  I have defended people accused of premeditated murder, rape, child rape, espionage, sexual assault, fraud, aggravated assault and other serious crimes, often receiving full acquittals or an acquittal on all of the serious charges.  I have taught CLE (Continuing Legal Education) classes on courtroom skills to hundreds of lawyers across the United States and even in Germany and South Korea.  My primary hobbies are running marathons and ultra marathons, playing and watching football and basketball, and reading up on the latest developments in criminal law and trial advocacy.
