The Law Office of Erin M. Polisano is dedicated to provide compassionate, professional and experienced representation to all our clients. It is my duty to represent all our clients with dignity and understanding. I will explain the process of your particular case in common language so you will understand exactly what is going on, at all times, as to your case.. Whether we take on a large corporation or an employer, most lawsuits are defended by insurance companies. I’ve spent eight years representing one of the largest insurance companies in America. I know how they work, what makes them tick and I have the knowledge over those eight years of knowing how far they will go in defending a case. I have experience in knowing the settlement value of your case and the position the defense will take.
Professional Civil Engineer, State of California, with BS and MS degrees in Engineering.. Licensed General Engineering and General Building Contractor, State of California.
Nathaniel Marston is a born and raised third generation Los Angeleno. Growing up in North Hollywood he went to high school at Harvard High (now Harvard Westlake). In search of a change of scenery, he went to college at a small liberal arts college in upstate New York – Hamilton College. Graduating in 1994 with his bachelor’s degree, he came back to Los Angeles and its sunny winters. He worked for a few years in the then burgeoning gaming industry at a children’s game publisher and then moving on to work at Activision.. In 1997 he started his legal education at Loyola Law School in downtown Los Angeles. Before even graduating, he clerked for a firm that specialized in personal injury law. After graduating and passing the bar, he went to work handling complex business and real estate litigation. Even while working at that firm, friends and family members would come to him whenever they were involved in a car accident and, given his knowledge of the area from clerking, he helped many people resolve their claims.. In 2008 when he branched out on his own, the vast majority of his work was dedicated solely to Los Angeles personal injury claims either from auto, pedestrian, truck, and bicycle accidents, trip and falls, and wrongful death claims. He continues that practice to this day.. In 2009, a former personal injury client contacted Mr. Marston to seek help regarding a landlord tenant dispute. The landlord was trying to evict the client for non-payment of rent. Through his investigation of the case, Mr. Marston determined that the unit his client was renting was not a registered unit with the Los Angeles Department of Housing. Since it was not a registered unit, the landlord was not allowed to collect any rent at all for the property let alone evict his client for not paying the rent. In fact, the landlord was required to pay the tenant back any amount that had been collected in rent for the last three years multiplied by three. The landlord also had to pay relocation fees before the tenant could be moved out of the unit. Even though the client had only paid some of the rent that he thought he had owed over the last three years and the rent on the unit had only been a few hundred dollars a month, Mr. Marston negotiated a settlement of $27,000 for that client giving him the money he needed to make a fresh start in a legal rental unit.. Since that time, Mr. Marston has continued to vigorously advocate on behalf of tenants and their rights. If you think that he can be of service to you, please contact us at or by email at

I was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley (and some years in Simi Valley) in sunny Southern California. I graduated high school valedictorian and attended the University of Redlands on an academic scholarship. After getting a double major in philosophy and psychology, I moved back to the San Fernando Valley and worked as an escrow officer for a few years while saving money for law school. I then attended King Hall School of Law at U.C. Davis (named after Martin Luther King, Jr.). I graduated in 1997 with the highest academic honor, Order of the Coif (top 10% of class).. While in law school, I was a judicial extern for the Hon. Garland E. Burrell, Jr., federal district judge in Sacramento, who was at the time presiding over the infamous "Unabomber" case. I also spent three months as a law clerk for the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing at its office in downtown Los Angeles.. After law school, I accepted a position in the litigation department of the largest law firm in Nevada, and relocated to Las Vegas. After six years, I left that firm to return to Southern California, working as a litigator at firms in Sherman Oaks, Woodland Hills, and Oxnard.. For years, my practice has been limited to representing employees in employment disputes which include claims for discrimination, harassment (including, but not limited to, sexual harassment), retaliation, whistleblower retaliation, wage/hour violations and other labor law claims. Basically, if an employee's rights have been violated, and the employee has a legal claim, I probably handle that type of claim. I provide free consultations and take cases on contingency (no fee unless you get a recovery).
