Tom is the recipient of a B.A from Northern Illinois University, an M.A from Northeastern Illinois University, a  Juris Doctor for Oklahoma City University and an LL.M in Health Law  from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago and a Graduate Certificate of Advanced Study in Higher Education e- learning from the University of St. Francis, Joliet Illinois and a Graduate Certificate in Applied Gerontology from Webster University,St Louis
