In this capacity, she provided research and advice to the Judge, handled pretrial and settlement conferences, reviewed and advised on motions and appeals, wrote judicial decisions, presided over cases, and assisted in court operations. In 2009, Ms Nuchereno was elected to the Amherst Town Board where she served through 2013. This position involved all aspects of municipal operations within Amherst which is one of the largest towns in New York State. At the end of 2012, she was appointed to the Amherst Industrial Development Agency where she remained through the end of her term..
