Ms. Reynolds, a native Wilmingtonian, is the founding Member of the Law Offices of Dana L. Reynolds, LLC. She focuses her practice in the areas of Family/Divorce Law and Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) Law.. In June of 2010, Ms. Reynolds founded the Law Offices of Dana L. Reynolds, LLC. Prior to this, Ms. Reynolds worked as an associate attorney at the nationally renowned Delaware law firm of Richards, Layton & Finger, P.A., in the firm's Restructuring and Bankruptcy Group. There she represented a variety of national and regional clients, including Fortune 500 corporate debtors, liquidating trusts and trustees, receivers and monitors in foreign proceedings, financial institutions as senior secured lenders and ad hoc committees of creditors, in multi-million dollar bankruptcy liquidation and reorganization proceedings under chapters 7, 11 and 15 of the United States Bankruptcy Code. Ms. Reynolds’ reviewed, objected to and/or settled thousands of claims made by creditors, former employees, landlords and federal and state agencies against bankruptcy estates, resolved contract disputes and prosecuted preference actions on behalf of plaintiff-debtors in the context of chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings.. Before working at Richards, Layton & Finger, P.A., Ms. Reynolds served as law clerk to the Hon. Jane R. Roth, Senior Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third District. While clerking at the federal appellate court, Ms. Reynolds reviewed and analyzed trial and administrative law judge decisions and drafted bench memoranda and proposed precedential and non-precedential opinions resolving, among other things, contract disputes, business torts, and employment, environmental, criminal judgment and sentencing, immigration, social security disability and federal and state constitutional matters.. Prior to her federal appellate clerkship, Ms. Reynolds was the law clerk to the Hon. Chandlee Johnson Kuhn, Chief Judge of the Family Court of the State of Delaware. There, she gained valuable experience in domestic relations and criminal and sentencing matters including adoption, termination of parental rights, divorce, complex marital property distribution, separation, premarital agreements, paternity, custody, spousal support, child protection, guardianship, domestic violence/PFAs, and juvenile adjudications of delinquency and expungement of records thereof. During her clerkship at the Family Court, Ms. Reynolds also acted as a designee of the Chief Judge and the Family Court to the Bar-Bench-Media Conference, Wilmington HOPE Commission, Child Protection Accountability Commission, Fatal Incident Review Team, Delaware Girls Initiative and Domestic Violence Coordinating Council.. In addition to her diverse legal experience, Ms. Reynolds comes from a hospitality business background and has an in-depth understanding of the challenges, obstacles and opportunities for the food and beverage industry. After graduating from Cornell University's prestigious hospitality business school, the Cornell School of Hotel Administration, with a major in Food and Beverage Management, Ms. Reynolds worked in the fine wine industry. First, as a Wine Advisor at New York City’s world-renowned Sherry-Lehmann Wine & Spirits, Ms. Reynolds advised clients in strategic investment, consignment, purchase, and storage of fine and rare wines and assisted in wine valuation for consignment and auction through Sotheby’s New York. Thereafter, as an Estates Group Account Manager for premier West Coast wine and liquor distributor, Young’s Market Company, Ms. Reynolds was responsible for driving millions of dollars in wine sales in top Zagat-rated restaurants, wine shops, and hotels in Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Hollywood, downtown Los Angeles, Glendale, Pasadena and the San Fernando Valley. At Young’s Market Company, Ms. Reynolds worked with chefs and restaurant owners to create unique and award-winning wine lists, arranged and conducted wine dinners and public tasting events, and assisted clients in the opening of new restaurants and hotels by facilitating the opening of credit accounts, securing on- and off-premise alcoholic beverage licensing and training of alcoholic beverage servers. Through her unique wine experience, Ms. Reynolds gained extensive knowledge of the three-tier alcohol distribution model existing in the United States.
