During her work at Bernard and Davidson, Ms. Unsell prepared and tried multiple cases before Madison and St. Clair juries. She remained there until 1986, at which time she opened her own law practice in East Alton, Illinois. In 1995, she obtained a jury verdict for an injured plaintiff which was recorded as the largest plaintiff verdict at the time in Macoupin County, Illinois. Ms. Unsell currently practices as a partner at Unsell, Schattnik & Phillips P.C. in Wood River, Illinois. She has prosecuted claims for injured parties and defended individuals who have been sued. Ms. Unsell also handles estates, prepares wills and power of attorney documents, and litigates contract disputes.
