Kimberly Stover is a seasoned trial attorney with over a decade of litigation experience. Having been a public defender at the Alexandria Office of the Public Defender from 2011-2022, she knows what it is like to represent people throughout all stages of the court process when the stakes are the highest. She is known among her colleagues and adversaries for her tireless advocacy, creative arguments and aggressive motions practice on behalf of her clients.. Laura Shaver has been practicing law since 2011, focusing on criminal defense. She focuses her practice on the representation of juveniles and adults accused of misdemeanors and felonies.. Ms. Shaver began her legal career in the San Diego Public Defender’s Office where she worked closely on several homicide cases before transferring to the Major Felony Unit where the majority of her caseload consisted of three-strike cases. During this time, Ms. Shaver also dedicated her free time to the California Innocence Project where she assisted staff attorneys in proving factual innocence for the wrongfully accused and incarcerated.. Upon graduating law school, Ms. Shaver returned home, to the Pacific Northwest. Prairie has over a decade of experience defending criminal matters including both misdemeanor and felony cases. In that time, she has successfully defended countless cases including, but not limited to, DUIs, Domestic Violence, Drug, Fish and Wildlife, and Theft cases.. Prairie has attended advanced trial training through the Trial Lawyer’s College throughout the United States. Travis Hillenbrand was born in Oceanside, California, and grew up in Evansville, Indiana. He attended the University of Southern Indiana to do his undergraduate studies before continuing his education at Southern Illinois University School of Law in Carbondale, Illinois.. As a student, Mr. Hillenbrand was a student contributor for the Journal of Legal Medicine, while also sitting as an editor for the Law Review. During his studies, Mr. Hillenbrand took part in various “know-your-rights” campaigns in the Southern Illinois area aimed at raising awareness of a person’s legal rights in various situations ranging from traffic stops to evictions. Continuing his passion for law, Mr. Hillenbrand participated in the trial team where he competed in several trial competitions in Kentucky and Georgia, and a voir dire tournament in Missouri. Mr. Hillenbrand has also worked with organizations devoted to re-integrating returning citizens from corrections facilities and has a passion for seeing returning citizens succeed in their post-conviction lives..
