During his first deployment he served as point-man for the infantry dismounts of a Mobile Assault Platoon. During his second deployment he served in the dual capacity as an infantry squad leader and an instructor for the Iraqi Police, teaching courses ranging from small unit tactics to police ethics. After returning from Iraq, Stuart was selected to serve with a small group of marines being sent to Thailand to act as counter-insurgency instructors for the Royal Thai he loved his time spent serving his country in the Corps, Stuart ultimately decided to leave the service to pursue other career opportunities. He was Honorably Discharged and returned to Louisiana shortly pursuing two separate degrees at Louisiana State University, Stuart worked first as a Supervisor at the Secretary of State’s Voter Registration Scanning Project and then as an LSAT instructor for the Princeton Review. Stuart continued working for the Princeton Review until he completed his education at the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University.
