I earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with honors in 2004 from Texas A & M University and followed that with a law degree, with honors, from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2007. I am a member of the Tarrant County Bar Association, Tarrant County Probate Bar and Tarrant County Young Lawyers Association. I am a member of the Junior League of Fort Worth, and actively involved with Kids Who Care, Lil Goldman Early Learning Center and St. Andrew Catholic church.
I got involved in law for the same reason so many folks open businesses, join nonprofits, and start families: to make a difference in others' lives and leave a mark on the world.. Before I started my law firm, the best time I'd ever had was the summer of 2010, following my Ghanian friend and mentor around his home country to watch him consult, advise, and develop nonprofits to better serve the people of Ghana. He loved his people. Since then, I’ve looked for ways to show my love for my own people, which led me to work in policy, nonprofits, churches, sundry small businesses, and eventually to attending law school.. My world these days mostly takes place here in Waco. When I returned home to Texas after law school, I found myself caught up in a whirlwind of entrepreneurial activity in the city. So I started this law firm with the goal to be an advocate for entrepreneurs and families in Waco and beyond! I've come to know that supporting the ideas and projects that they care about frees them to focus on their work, their lives, and their businesses. And that matters as much to me as it does to them.. Presently, I live in Waco. I drink a lot of coffee. I eat far too much chips and salsa. And I read the Lord of the Rings as often as I can.
