My practice focuses on business and corporate law, estate planning, and estate administration. I advise clients on the start-up, maintenance, and operation of business and nonprofit entities, assist clients buying and selling businesses and real estate, and draft and review commercial agreements. I prepare estate plans, guide clients through the often complicated world of probate, trust, and estate administration after the death of a family member, and help families minimize their Oregon and Federal estate tax burden.

Attorney, Professor, Entreprenuer, and Small Business Owner.  Anthony Mahan is an experienced litigation attorney licensed to practice law in Kentucky and Ohio.  For the last several years Mr. Mahan's practice has focused on representing large corporations and small businesses in commercial litigations matters ranging from contract disputes to appellate advocacy.  Mr. Mahan also spends a great portion of his time representing plaintiff's in personal injury lawsuits and employment disputes.  Prior to private practice Mr. Mahan was a law clerk for Judge Karen Thomas, Campbell District Court and a summer law clerk for Justice Wil Schroder, Kentucky Supreme Court.  Mr. Mahan is also currently an Adjunct Professor of Entreprenuerial Law at Northern Kentucky University atop owning several small businesses.. She lives in Bowling Green with her husband, Russell, and their one-eyed Shar-Pei, Fletch. Heather has a passion for all things real-estate related, and in her spare time, is perpetually in the midst of a home renovation project.

In 1993, I earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree in Law from the University of Oregon during which time I also worked as an environmental consultant honing my knowledge and skills by investigating sites for potential environmental liability and working with companies in contamination delineation and remediation plan alternatives.. After being admitted to the Oregon State Bar in 1994, I began working in private practice where I continued to expand my knowledge of the law. In 1999 I co-founded Yarmo and Wasley, PC in Bend, Oregon. In 2002, I relocated my private practice, the Wasley Law Office, PC, to La Grande, Oregon, where I was originally raised, and continue to help clients with their legal issues.

I started my career in the biotechnology sector, working directly with patients and physicians to develop new drug therapies. I managed clinical trials for the treatment of macular degeneration, cancer, hypertension, high cholesterol, and rare retinal disorders. I experienced first-hand the challenges of managing a medical practice and getting new drugs to market quickly and safely.. I then applied my scientific training to the energy sector, working for the Department of Energy during the day and attending law school in the evenings. I saw how some of the most interesting challenges played out across the region, such as integrating renewable energy sources into the grid, creating an energy imbalance market, and setting wholesale power and transmission rates.. At Immix, I focus on helping biotech and health care clients navigate the complex rules that shape their businesses. She especially enjoys helping women-owned and family businesses succeed in challenging marketplaces.. Outside of Immix, I enjoy diving and exploring the Pacific NW with my husband Jeff, daughter Eliza, and two fantastic dogs Zoey and Heike.

Michael was born in Fairbanks, AK and has lived up and down the West Coast. He attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy. After briefly working in banking, he chose to attend the Willamette University College of Law. He now lives in Portland and is enjoying all that Oregon has to offer. His interests include: fishing, hiking, and music.
