I am an associate attorney in the Whitfield & Eddy Law Estates, Wills and Trusts Practice Group. Additionally, I represent clients in business law and corporate matters and real estate transactions.. As an estates, wills and trusts attorney, I work with clients to help them understand the relationships between assets, family members, goals and expectations to recommend solutions to achieve the desired results. Often this includes advice and assistance with business formation, succession planning and real estate matters.

I practice primarily in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration, and business law.. I provide comprehensive estate planning services including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, business succession planning, and estate, gift, and GST tax planning. When I am not at the office, one might find me spending time with my family outdoors, paddleboarding on one of the local lakes, coaching one of my kid's basketball teams, giving an art lesson at an elementary school, or meeting a friend for lunch at one of the local restaurants.

Alison Sheets opened Sheets Law in 2023, and offers services in estate planning, tenant-side housing, and select immigration services. Alison opened Sheets Law with the idea of serving clients that are often overlooked and underrepresented by the legal system, including immigrants, the LGBTQ community, and nontraditional families. Sheets Law works with clients from all backgrounds and strhives to make clients feel heard and respected.. Alison has lived all over the world and speaks German and Spanish, in additional to  English. She holds a Juris Doctorate from the Univeristy of Denver, as well as a Masters in International Human Rights from the University of Denver's Korbel School of International Studies. In 2024, Alison was honored as one of the American Bar Association's Top 40 Young Lawyers.
