During my law school education, I served on the Executive Board for Phoenix Law Review's Fourth Volume as a Managing Editor.  I also participated in the Veteran's Legal Assistance Clinic, drafting wills and solving landlord/tenant issues for qualified Maricopa County veterans.  I further went on to serve veterans through my volunteer work at the Bob Stump Veterans Administration Medical Center.  After graduation from law school, I worked briefly in the field of bankruptcy law..
