Zach Walsh practices criminal law and family law with McKean Smith. Prior to joining McKean Smith, Zach honed his courtroom skills as a prosecutor and as an attorney at one of Portland's largest family law firms. William was born and raised on the western slopes of the Wallowa mountains in eastern Oregon.  From there, he criss-crossed the nation, attending film school in New York City, remodeling houses in Seattle and landscaping in the San Juan Islands, before settling in Portland in 2008.. I have had a successful general, family oriented, sole-practice for over 25 years where I have represented thousands of clients charged with criminal misdemeanor and felony charges (including Murder). In the last 5 years though, I have broadened my areas of practice to include more personal injury cases, and family law cases (divorce and child custody/support), contract disputes, and some collections work. With that said, civil litigation (domestic and personal injury) is the direction that I am most interested in going, but I will always have a strong criminal defense background should the need arise..
