I have had a successful general, family oriented, sole-practice for over 25 years where I have represented thousands of clients charged with criminal misdemeanor and felony charges (including Murder). In the last 5 years though, I have broadened my areas of practice to include more personal injury cases, and family law cases (divorce and child custody/support), contract disputes, and some collections work. With that said, civil litigation (domestic and personal injury) is the direction that I am most interested in going, but I will always have a strong criminal defense background should the need arise.. In a nutshell, I am a passionate and intense, intuitive but realistic, case strategist with a gift of insight which allows me to find creative and often unique ways to either “win” or at least positively “benefit” my clients in plea negotiations, at trial, and/or on appeal. I have strong research and writing skills, a background in psychology, mediation, negotiation, and over 25 years of litigation and appellate experience. In court, I present a well-prepared, organized, confident, professional, and common-sense demeanor that gives me a certain credibility that jurors easily relate to and/or identify with. Out of court, I am a more light-hearted, relaxed, fun-loving and devoted friend, husband, and father of 4 children between the ages of 5 and 16 years of age.
