I was born in Houston, Texas and have lived in the surrounding areas my whole life. I went to Ross S. Sterling High School in Baytown and attended the University of Texas at Austin for my undergraduate studies. I graduated with a degree in Communication Studies-Human Relations. I immediately started attending South Texas College of Law and graduated a semester early in December 2009. I took and passed the February 2010 Bar and was licensed to practice law May 5, 2010.. I am currently practicing with my father, Michael E. Turner, and brother, Christopher Turner. Mike has been practicing for over 30 years and I'm getting to learn from the best. Our office is located in Baytown, Texas and we handle cases in Harris, Chambers, Fort Bend, Montgomery, Galveston and Liberty counties. We do exclusively criminal defense which means if you are charged or think you are going to be charged with any crime we can help you out.. Personally, I married the love of my life in July 2010 and we bought our first home. We welcomed our first child in March 2014. William is a fourth generation Texan who has lived in the Georgetown/Austin area for over 32 years. He primarily practices criminal, family, and estate planning, probate, in Williamson and Travis counties. William Russell graduated from St. Mary’s University with a Doctorate of Jurisprudence and a Masters in Business Associations. While in law school, William served as a member of the St. Mary’s Clinical Program providing Pro Bono legal aid to many of San Antonio’s homeless in the areas of Social Security Disability and Consumer Protection. He took an interest in Criminal Law during law school and became a founding member of the Restorative Justice Organization at St. Mary’s. He served as an intern at the The Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, highest criminal court in Texas, in Austin for Judge Barbara Hervey in 2009. He concluded his law studies at The University of Texas. William has been actively involved in the community of Austin through Scouting and Alpha Phi Omega Fraternity. Through APO and Scouting he completed thousands of volunteer service hours for the Austin community. He currently serves as the Alpha Phi Omega Service Fraternity Section 43 Chair and Region 7 Leadership Development Chair. William was also asked to be apart of the Young Lawyers Leadership Academy in 2013.
