I have worked as a Court Attorney for the NYS Court system for 28 years.  I was the supervisor of the Nassau County District Court Law Dept. prior to moving to Albany in 2002.  I am now the Law Clerk for the five City Court Judges.  Annually I lead a CLE for the Albany County Bar Association on Landlord/Tenant Law.

Mr. Almy has experience in representing Defendants in criminal cases, including felony DWI, gun possession, a variety of misdemeanors, and traffic tickets. His experience in civil litigation includes representing construction companies as plaintiff and defendant, estate litigation, personal injury cases, and Small Claims Court. He has appeared in Court throughout New York State.. Mr. Almy is admitted to practice law in New York State. He received his Juris Doctor from Albany Law School and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Albany where he received his Bachelor’s Degree.. Mr. Almy is the attorney advisor for the Loudonville Christian School mock trial team, which competes in the New York State Bar Associations’ mock trial tournament. When he is not working, Mr. Almy enjoys golfing, playing tennis, and spending time at home with his wife and two dogs.

Lauren was born and raised in Mt. Olive, Alabama.   She graduated from Gardendale High School, The University of Alabama, and Cumberland School of Law.  Lauren is a current member of the Alabama State Bar and the Huntsville-Madison County Bar as well as the Birmingham Bar Association.  She is admitted to practice before all Alabama State Courts.  Lauren is a certified Guardian Ad Litem.  She takes a special interest in all cases involving the welfare of children.. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys running, paddle boarding, and enjoying the outdoors with her golden retriever, Tully.  She is a member of the Huntsville Track Club and currently serves on the Board of Legal Leaders of Huntsville benefiting the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
